It is quite a statement piece. Sturdy and elegant, it says high quality. We loved that we could get some extra storage. The hidden "secret" front panel door is truly a surprise. When you push gently on the top left it begins to spin open smoothly. There are also two side doors that open as well

I absolutely love this bar!!! One thing to be cautious of and I put it in the picture so you won't make the same mistake I made due to no instructions saying not to do this..I turned the spindle several times without moving the medal piece on the inside which resulted in me damaging the bottom of the spindle ( I shaved enough wood to create another bar) you can't see the damage from looking at it so that's great! I take responsibility for damaging the bottom but instructions should have been provided so that I didn't make that mistake but the bar deserves the 5 stars I gave.
